Printifi: campus printing from your phone, collected without the queue
Printifi, founded by Ansh Tyagi in Chandigarh, lets students upload, pay and collect prints from campus print shops — no pen drive, no waiting at the counter.
By Printifi
Chandigarh, India — Printifi is a campus printing platform that moves the whole print order onto a student's phone: the file, the price and the payment. The shop prints it before the student arrives, and the student walks in, shows a token and collects it. Printifi was founded by Ansh Tyagi in Chandigarh, India, in 2026.
What it changes
Printing something on campus usually means standing in a queue at the counter, handing over a pen drive, and guessing the price. With Printifi, a student picks a desk, uploads the file and sees the price — at that shop's own rates — before ordering.
How it works
- 1Upload from your phone — a document, photos, or a page scanned with the phone's camera. The pages are counted and the price is shown before you order.
- 2Choose black & white or colour, one side or both, the copies and the pages.
- 3Pay the shop by UPI, in cash at the counter, or online through Printifi where the shop takes it.
- 4Get told the moment it's ready — a notification on your phone, and on WhatsApp where you've turned it on.
- 5Show your token at the counter and collect it. Where a desk is on Printifi's delivery rounds, a runner can bring it to you instead.
For print shops
Every desk on Printifi is an independent print or stationery shop that sets its own prices, hours and paper. Orders arrive with their files ready to print; payment comes by UPI, in cash, or online. Any shop can apply to run a desk, and a new desk's first month carries no platform fee.
Files that don't linger
A file sent to print is deleted automatically six hours after the order is collected, with every copy Printifi made to print it. Print shops on Printifi agree to open a student's file only to print it.
